Written to me in a card on our 11th Wedding Anniversary June 10th 2005 (20 days before his death) .
This is now quoted on his headstone .
Dave and I met at a Birthday Party but ,for him ,it was love at first sight and,he was determned
that I would be his.
We married in 1994 (June 10th) and 2 years later (30th June 1996) our family was extended by the
addition of Fiona and in quick succession Laura (21st October 1997) .Life was NOT a bed of roses .we
had a poorly premature baby ,I suffered illness ,and Dave began to drink but ,despite this we held
onto our marriage vows and worked together .
Our Family was complete with the addition of our 3rd beautiful daughter Catherine (22nd March
2000).
Your tragic death left us in shock but also made us realise the importance of the little things in
life .
We love you and always will.xxxxxx

I remember Dave surrounded by our children, cooking food we hoped mine would actually eat, laughing with them and letting Penny and I talk! He had a generosity of spirit and true kindness ... which glows out of Fiona, Laura and Catherine.
